Welcome to FTE and the Big Bronco Forum.

May I suggest that you concern yourself with spending the money to re-gear the axles BEFORE worrying about the transmission cooler. No transmission cooler in the world is going to save that poor E4OD from the incessant "hunting" of shift-points it will do at cruising speeds (35-45 MPH) with that tire and gear combination. You might keep it cool but you won't spare its life or your engine's life from operating more than 200 rpm LOWER (and that is in overdrive... its worse in lower gears) than the computer is programmed to run it and calculate shift points. With that setup you will be lucky to have the power to pass or climb hills because it is going to shift way too soon to develop any decent power.

Its obviously your truck and you can do what you want with it. But I won't be the only person to tell you that running that setup will turn your Bronco into a "gelding" in the performance department. I wish i could say that was just an opinion but when you apply the arithmetic to the idea, its just fact.

I don't ruin my vehicle with modifications to impress others but, stay pretty much with how the engineers designed it from radiator cap to rear bumper. Mine is a fantastic performer and is stock. You can spend money on big tires to impress and that is fine. I'm not being critical. That is your choice and your right to modify. It's just not my preference. That's all. Consider the advice of greystreak92.

Dont listen to Oscar, modifications DO NOT ruin a vehicle.

That being said, Greaystreak is right. You need to regear and adding an aux trans cooler will not solve the problem
