4wd not working
i have a 93 f150xlt 4x4 with automatic hubs and t-case. when i put in 4x4 the front wheels do not turn but the light comes on and it clicks like it always did and it will go in 4low anyone ever had this happen or have an idea whats wrong.

If the light comes on then the shaft position encoder is moving, which means the shaft is turning. That's a good start. Does it make any noise when shifting? How about when driving in any range?
It's common for these cases to have broken shift forks after a few 100k miles... the oil pump retainer wears thru the case, breaks loose and takes out the forks.

I should have read more carefully... sorry. Thought he said the front driveshaft wasn't turning...Yeah auto hubs are JUNK. Check them first, sorry bout that.
I plan on tearing mine out too, BEFORE they leave me stuck somewhere.
There's an easy way to check them. Put the t-case in 4H or 4L and drive forward a bit, this will engage them if they work.
Now without backing up or otherwise moving the truck, jack the front axle up and turn the wheels. The axles should turn also. If not, hubs are shot.

all you need are the hubs, mile marker makes a solid set as well, for the thrifty shopper. I put a set on my f-350 and opted for the lower cost as I only drive it a few thousand miles a year
