I got some from Orielly and the guy said it was ok for diesel, high pressure and high temp. He got out this 4 inch thick book and read all the specs. Only thing is he said you can not submerse it in diesel as the outer material is different than the inner lining. Sounded adequate to me, we'll see how long it lasts.
You are welcome
The 'MPI/Fuel Injection' hose, 30R9 spec, was recently tested to meet some diesel hose requirements at Freightliner and was passed on to the truck market. The hose meets a 302F temp requirement making it ideal for the engine valley on our trucks.
The hose is available at Gates distributors under part numbers:
27082 (10 ft pkg) and 27094 (25 ft pkg) for 1/4"
27085 and 27095 for 5/16"
27088 and 27096 for 3/8"
You can get it at NAPA also, just have them convert the Gates PN to NAPA.
Got a good source for the fuel pump and o-rings? Advance auto stuff seems hit or miss... I've had vacuum pumps go out after 10min and some last a couple years...

Everyone on here says the fuel pumps are all the same - all made by Carter. I went down to Advanced and picked one up and sure enough, made by Carter. The o-rings I got from dieselorings.com. The kit is nice and includes online pdf of instructions. Here's the link - had them in about 4 days. Fuel System Parts & Filters - 1994-1998 Ford 7.3L
