I have wander, and am thinking of doing either the V code swap or comparable options. I heard the V code springs are hard to find. I do like that I would get ~2 inches of lift with the V codes. What are some comparable options instead of the V codes?
let me rephrase, i heard the V codes from a dealership are very expensive, is there any better alternatives for the same cost as the V codes? (ie, if i cant find them used, is V codes at full retail the best bang for the buck option out there)
ill call the dealership and see prices. Should I do V code all the way around or only front? What else should i replace/upgrade along with the V code springs?
Do not go aftermarket by any means. Usually they are low quality and the sellers often post false weight ratings. Its only about 30.00 more to go direct through ford. I installed aftermarket "X" codes which according to the sellers charts was less than a V code rating. My Chinese knock off springs are already sagging in the front after 6,000 miles. In the spring I will be buying X codes and C codes direct from Ford. The C codes I installed in the rear are supposed to be F350 DRW springs but actually are rated less than the factory G codes.
Like Stewart said, give Tousley Ford a call, they have the best prices. If you can get ur local dealership to come down in price then it might be the same as Tousley but without the shipping price.

V codes are front springs. You can try and bolt 'em on the back, but it wouldn't work!
The popular choice for the rear suspension are a set of B codes.
