Smile Performance Enhancement

I have a 1999 Ford Ranger XLT Stepside; 2.5L I-4 with a 5-speed transmission. I want to enhance the performance but I don't have a alot of money to spend. I want to get the most bang for the least amount of money. It has a K&N Airfilter and one of those Tornado inserts but it doesn't seem to be much different than before. Any suggestions?

Performance Enhancement

Welcome to FTE!!!

Not sure how much you want to spend but an under drive pulley if they make them for a 2.5 and an electric fan. One other thing, remove the tornado, they're snake oil, sorry.

You can take that tornado insert and use it for a paper weight, that's about all it's good for other than making your check book lighter.

on the 2.5 about the only thing that will show some performance would be to put on a electric fan as rockledge stated.
