Couple of questions from a Jeep guy tryin to help out a friend with an Expedition.
I've gathered from searching that he can run 285's(33's) with no lift as long as he doesnt have LLS, but what is LLS? and how do I know if he has it?
Also, he want new wheels, black wheels or bulet hole style, what is the bolt pattern on the Expedition...5on5.5?
Also, I'm gonna reccomend he go down to 16's for more tire choices, should that be 16x8? What backspacing or offset, he can handle a little wider but doesnt want and outside the body molding?
Thanks again and sorry for the newbie questions.

I had the stock 265/70 17's and I went to 285/60 18 with 18x8.5 wheels with no problem. They are the same overall height as stock, and do not affect the speedo, etc. The bolt pattern is 5x135mm, and I believe it is a zero offset, but I am not sure. The LLS or Load leveling suspension, should not affect anything. They are just rear air shocks, check for air lines going to the shocks, and an electric compressor near the wiper fluid reservoir.
