Funny (motor?) (Trans?)Vibration under non tubro load
Hello All
2000 E350 156K
Anyone ever have a funny vibration under acceleration without turbo kicked in?
I tried to take a video but it was hard to see.. you feel it more then anything.
It feels like a out of balance tire or drive-shaft, but its not because I can make it come or go with hitting the gas..
Or maybe the gas (load) just puts extra torque on whatever part is vibrating to tighten up the vib and I feel it less.... Not sure...
Im about to start driving this van 500 miles back and forth to a job site so i would really like to try and figure this out!
Maybe it could be drive-shaft bearings ? U-joints ?
Its really noticeable when driving at 55-60 mph before the tq locks up for overdrive... once it locks up it seems to get a lot better... again
maybe putting a heavier load on some part so it cant vibrate?

cv joints ? how easily do they go bad ?
I have had trucks before with 200k and never a bad driveshaft joint...
I have heard of people not seating there TQ correctly..
has anyone had results like this ?
