start here? Ford OBD-II Trouble Codes
Have you been working on the truck before these codes showed up? Check that all vacuum hose are OK as a cheap first step..
The 173/174 are oppisite code issues. One is saying too Rich, one is saying too Lean. It's possible to have both depending on when the computer saw the fault.
Anyways, it's usually an intake air leak at some point in the intake tract.
.
The 1401 is an open DPFE sensor circuit. Check the plugup and harness attached to it.
.
The 1519 is a stuck intake runner control (IMRC) on one or both banks.
They are vacuum operated with sensors for the computer to tell when it's not operating. Shafts operate flow restriction plates inside the runners.
The runners are normally closed down to increase low speed torque then open up as the rpm increases.
.
The 1000 code is not a trouble code but an indicator that all systems that are normally tested did not pass.
When they all pass testing the 1000 will clear.
I jumped in to help because if you have no idea what to do you could not interpet the codes as there is more to it than just a few discription words.
Good luck.
is there one code that i should start with that might be more urgent of a matter? The scanner did give more detail however i am at work and i only wrote down the codes so that i could google them.
What you need to be awhere of is to decide on what order you will do the work because the codes don't clear instantly.
Such is the case that you don't know if you got a good repair each time unless you clear all codes each time, then run drive cycles to see what comes back.
If you don't do it this way you see old history most of the time and can get confused about where you are with the work.
The computer goes into full diagnostics everytime you clear or reboot.
The EVAP takes the longest so ignor that one.
Hope it make sense.
Good luck.
But you've done the first thing right.
