CoP system reccomendations

From my own experience on a 5.4 V8 nothing but Motorcraft plugs and COP's for Ford's modular motors. Autolites are an acceptable plug substitute but there's simply nothing like Ford's OEM COP's.
Prices have dropped to about $45 each if you shop around online, perhaps your local dealer will have a similar price too. Typically the COP's last a long time so unless you know one or more are bad there's no real need to swap them out.
You should definitely replace the COP boots and terminal springs though--those are vital. I get mine from NAPA (Belden 702418) for about $5 each. Follow the recommendations found here torquing the plugs, use anti-seize if you feel its useful and you'll have trouble-free driving for another 50k miles!
