302 carb help

hi guys need some help picking a carb for my 302 in my 69 f100 ive read different things but seems to me about a 550 cfm would be best? right now i have a holley 750 double pumper bolted to a edelbrock torker manifold and 3 inch exhaust. gonna stick with the manifold and i want to keep the 3 inch exhaust cus it sounds sooooo good. but other than that the motor is stock. and its a 3 spd manual if that makes a difference. im a mechanic and know a bit about carbs mainly from working on my bikes and i like to fiddle. any info would be appreciated

thanks
James

A 750 is way too big. You need a 600 or 650 vac secondaries.

I never liked the torqer intakes. I've had good luck with performer and performer rpm intakes. Dual plane is best for a stock/street built motor.

You'll notice more response out of just putting a 600 Vacuum over that 750 DP. That is WAYYY too much carb for a stock 302.

Likely the Performer will be best for a stock motor.

TORKER IS A HIGH RPM MANIFOLD , you might want to switch that out too as it's robbing your engine of torque

Performer intake is pretty much comparable to a stock 4 bbl. Even if you can find one from an 80s mustang (aluminum version) they perform pretty good.
Yeah, you definitely want a dual plane for a street driver.
