edlebrook manifold for 1974 f100 302

okay, I just got a reman engine 1970 302 engine that suppose to have been redone from ground up. ZIt also came with an edlebrock manifold 289 Performer for a four barrel carb, my old 302 has a 2 barrel carb. Does anyone have any ideas on what type of carb to use with this maifold, I have found some edlebrocks on ebay & I didn't wnat to buy the wrong one & I can't find anyting anywhere expalining what to do but for this set up.
Thanks
Garry

thanks pipman76 & UTfball68 it seems that both of yo uagree that a 600 cfm would be the way to go. What does the "sec" mean in the 600vac sec description. Also, UTfball68, I like your signature line.

Ben that sounds like good advice & it sounds that you know your carbs & I dont. I haven't worked on a card since being 19 which has ben a long long time. Do you think a holly will work ok with that edlebrock 289 manifold with not problems?
Thanks

Wow thanks, wouldn't have known that. I went to the site you gave & found a Holley's model 4160 with Automatic choke, so I am supposing this is the one I should get right.
thanks for your help

I have a similar setup (302 / performer 289) and have been thinking about running an Edelbrock 500 or Autolite 4100. I don't have much experience with the Holley 4160, but a lot of people highly recommend them and sounds like a good choice.
