Look what I found!!
I recently moved out of the city and back into the country. As I was pulling weeds from around the front porch something caught my eye that looked like a steering wheel, so I crawled under there and got it. It turns out to be a vintage wood grain “the 500” Superior Performance Products wheel. I couldn’t believe it so I did a little research and I found out that Superior was bought out by Grant in the 80's and Grant continues to produce the wheels with only minor differences, mainly the number of holes in the spokes. SPP spokes had 4 holes & Grant produces them with 3 holes. Once Grant took over, the SPP logo and "flying man" stamps were replaced with Grant logos some time later. What I couldn’t find was the make and model it might have come out of, does anyone know? I looked on ebay and the ones in this condition go for around 100 bucks. I may consider selling it if anyone’s interested. I just thought it was a cool find and I would share it with yall.

The wheel is universal. The hub adapter, (which you don't have) will determine what it will fit. You can still buy the hub adapters from Grant, so it's all good. Restoring one of those wheels is NOT easy. The wood has to be surgically removed from the steel before you can re-chrome the center, then refurbish the wood before re attaching the wood with new rivets.
After all that, you could've bought two new Grant wheels. You need to find a guy that just has to have an SPP unit to get the money that you're thinking.

Thanks guys. I don't have the talent to even attept to try to restore it. I was just throwing the idea out there that I would sell it. I might even install it in my truck just like it is. Do you have a link to the adapter I would need?
