Front Sway Bar Help

So after figuring out that my front end clunking was from the worn out sway bar bushings (thank you list serve) I ordered the proper parts and started the repair. Had to take a break as something came up and had all the parts in the garage.

Now putting it all back together and don't recall which way the sway bar goes. Tried both ways and looks like it could go either way. One was has the bar hanging below the front axel, the other has it tucked up high and tight. Could use a picture of proper install.

It hangs down low and you can see it from the side. The links probably won't fit otherwise.

Thanks, it does help and confirmed for me which way it way. Your other post about the whole project was what inspired me to do the project in the first place. Should have looked at this particular photo a little closer.

Thanks, and the links will fit either way, I know for sure as I had it bolted up both ways.

Ironically after completing the project (the correct way) I was still hearing a lot of banging around from the front end when driving. Turns out the front passenger shock is a mess, top bushing is completely gone. Time for new shocks!!!
