I really doubt the running boards off an Expy or even a Super Duty will fit on an Excursion. Could be wrong...

When the factory running boards rusted off the X bought a set from runningboardwarehouse and have been happy. Instead of buying lighted ones had my mechanic install LED strip lights between the rocker panel and the running boards. The lights are green and have gotten quite a few compliments on them.

I have them and they are on my X. I still done know where to plug the pigtail into. Do they go into the body of the X from underneath or is there a longer harness that takes them up between the firewall and the engine?

I Have a 05 Edie Bauern Excursion with a 6L.

Thanks

OEM running boards and nerf-type side steps from the SuperDuty F250/350 crew cabs fit perfectly. SuperCab/Extended cabs are too short though.
