There seems to be lately a lot of new members with new to them trucks with problems they are having trouble finding solutions for. I read their posts and think, "If only they were closer I'd be happy to lend them a hand." But every single one seems to be in distant part of the country far away from me. I've been wrenching on my trucks for many years, I don't have all the answers but I still have a lot of experience. I have a fairly good selection of tools including a MIG welder and other fairly expensive tools that I have amassed over 30+ years that most new younger members haven't been able to afford. If only some of you guys were closer I'd be more than happy to help out. I even have a very nice tilt bed trailer that I could move your projects around with.

Come on over. The weather is about the same, I think.

Don't forget Bobby, I'm sure he's has a few cold frostie adult beverages chilling in the frig.

The basic topic of this post is closely related to the reason I try to hammer into everyone's head to post their location in the upper right hand corner. If you're having a problem with your truck, be it looking for a part or needing help to accomplish some kind of repair, if some is close by they are more willing to offer assistance. I have a few members near me but they all seem to be older guys who work pretty well on their own, they don't really need my help although if they'd ask I'd be more than willing to help if I can.

Hey, the time I met you in person at your house I thought I had some pretty good goodies on that trailer. It's been quite some time, it's your turn to stop by for a visit.

Yeah, here in Albuquerque, Arizona, we have plenty of room. Just wish we were part of the USA.

Gee, Bob, I thought this was going to be the annual reminder to put your location in your Profile, so those who want to answer questions don't have to look it up....

Well, I did connect it to that subject. Still is a good reminder.

Did someone mention frosty beverages?

I'm your man. I might not be the best wrench or fabricator but I can sure put a dent in you supply of frostys.....lol

Along these lines of helping out. I travel all over New Mexico, a bit of SW Colorado, and El Paso, TX and could help shuffle parts around if need be.

LOL
My weldings been referred to as "pigeon welding".
I had an old buddy look at some of my welds, then he looked up into the sky. He had me, I took the bait. When I asked him what he was looking for he replied that he was looking for the flock of pigeons that must have been flying over........
