Question C6????

I have access to a newer model C6 not sure of the year but it has a 208 on it!!

Will this have the same output shaft as my 79 C6 with the 205 on it???

To my knowledge yes all c6's had 32 spline output shafts but I would check novak-adapt to verify. The real issue you will have is the adapter housing length. The output shaft and adapter will have to be changed otherwise driveshaft's will not fit. Take a tape measure and look.

My question is the length of the output shaft.......203 has the 5" and a 205 had the 8" I've never seen the 208 off the tranny to measure!!! This C6 is pretty built up and just what I need!! The guy wants to trade straight up for my SM435/205 setup.......

Ok so your first post said 208 now it's a 203? It really doesn't matter, which ever t-case you are using will need the adapter and outputshaft from the old one to make the driveshaft's work. The trans mount will be the same as well as the crosmember. So you will need to swap the output shaft and adapter from the old to the new.

The C6 in question has a 208 on it I am asking if the output shaft the same length as the 205 C6 THERE IS A DIFFERENCE between the 203-205 output length....

Even if it is wrong and the tranny is right and what you want it isn't that hard to pull the valve body and the band and the gear train out to get to the snap ring to remove the out put shaft.
