Intoducing myself
I am glad to see we have a very active board.
I have been on this site for quite awhile; however, I am new to this Chapter.
I just purchased a 1994 F350 4X4 CC 67.3IDI E40D truck. I have always loved this year/series of truck.
Currently the truck is bone stock except for the 2" Rancho lift kit & aftermarket wheels.
I have just purchased a Hypermax intercooler & am currently working with Mel at Connestoga Diesel on procuring the rest of the intercooler kit parts.
The next mod I will be doing is the 3" Turbo upgrade from NMB2. along with a new low restriction intake & exhaust system (any suggestion??)
The last item down the road will be the Snow meth injection system.
The aforementioned items came to light due to our disappointing maiden voyage to Patagonia lake. The truck just did not have adequate power to pull my 20' travel trailer up the hills. The trailer loaded if I had to guess would weigh in at about 5,000lbs wet.
I am hoping to find another IDI to start a build up on. So keep me in mind if you know where there is a good engine cantidate.
I am new to Diesel so I am really looking forward to accelerating my learning curve on these IDI engines.

Welcome aboard! Sounds like a pretty awesome truck!
If you're looking for a cheap intake, you might want to look at a 6637 filter set up. I bought one from RiffRaff but they don't have anything for the IDI's.
Those trucks usually have no problem towing big loads, they're just slow. Really slow. Was yours a factory turbo?

Hypermax in the House
Well I just unpacked my intercooler today. It looks like a nice piece. Now I have to get the rest of the kit from Mel at Connestoga Diesel. Next on the procurement list will be: my gauge cluster so I will be able to step up the pump & also monitor my egt, boost & trans temps. Take care all.
