GearVender Controller Swap?
I finished my used Gearvender Overdrive install this weekend and it went well. I'll post pictures to the forum once I download the images off the camera.
I have a question to all those out there who have a Gearvendor system installed. Does anyone have the Gearvendor 1E0104 Controller? My controller is from 1992, and it appears to not function completely. I can put the OD in manual mode, but I can't get the Auto-Drive to function properly..
If you do have an old Gearvendor system (part number 1E0104) and you are located in the Los Angeles area, I was hoping we could meet up and see if plugging in your functional unit will engage the Auto-Drive. Since all the cords are plug-and-play, it should be a quick test.
(Some notes: I tested the indicator lights (OK), tested the G.V. rocker switch (OK), tested the resistance of the speedosensor (OK), all cords appear to be intact and functioning (Manual mode works while driving), the solenoid cables work (Manual mode works), I have power to the controller, the Green light for the "Manual Mode" works. I'm convinced it's the controller malfunctioning in AutoDrive.)
