The ABS light came on, so I checked the code. Got a C1095, Hydraulic Pump Motor Failure. Checked all fuses and then did the pin test as outlined on another form. I found that I was not getting any power to the plug leading to the hydraulic motor. Maybe I missed a fuse? If the motor is in fact dead, there still should be current running into it?
Thanks much................I don't have the required scan tool. I did a Google search and ran across that one already. I checked with a volt meter and best I can tell, there is no voltage to the top pin.
OK, no event, so begin with step one in the pinpoint testing & let us know what you find. Maybe first look for the obvious, like damged wiring or insulation, loose electrical connectors, or corroded pins/sockets, bent pins, spread sockets, so do a wiggle & or thump tests & see if the problem/code clears.
With the ABS motor not getting power, you won't have ABS, but your normal braking is unaffected, so be careful on slick surfaces until you get this put right & let us know how your trouble shoot goes..
