Cheap 4-lbb intake?

Cheap 4-lbb intake?
Does anyone know where I can get a cheap 4-lbb intake for my 360 FE? At the moment I don't care if it is a factory cast iron intake, I just need a 4-lbb because I don't want to do the adapter from 4 to 2. Thanks for any suggestiobns.

Any passenger car or truck (if you can find one) OEM iron manifold will work. Some won't work, like "High Rise" manifolds from the mid '60s, but you won't find performance manifolds for the most part. CJ and PI manifolds as well as the HRs tend to go for more money and are not as common as the "S" and "T" manifolds.
Trying to shake some power out of your 360? Try some headers first if you have not done so already. Even the 2bbl puts more in than the stock exhaust manifolds want to let out.....

I wouldn't mind putting a set of long tube headers on it but don't have the money for them right now. I got a edlbrock 4 lbb from my buddy for $20, and thats why I'm looking for a intake. I have searched the junk yards and all FE blocks I find are 2 lbb.

I found one a while back one craigslist but didn't have the money then. Know that I got some money it is sold and can't find one.

I have a few just laying around but the shipping would be more than they're worth.
I can buy one at my local yard for 20 bucks, i haven't checked into shipping but i'd imagine it's around 50 bucks.

A quick search tempest looksee found a few 390 engines for $200-$400 in PA.
Also post in the classified on the Network54 FordFe forums. I'm sure someone has a S or T intake they've been tripping over for a decade.

My shipping guestimate was way off...
USPS won't accept a package over 70lbs (FE cast iron intake weighs nearly 80lbs)
Both UPS and FedEx gave me a ballpark of $100 (they couldn't tell me exactly until they had the packaged dimensions).
Bottom line...these intakes aren't worth the cost to ship them imo, you'd be better off buying a used Edelbrock Performer intake for around $150-200
