ebp delete possible?

So I have a code for my ebp, and I know it's likely just plugged up can be cleaned.
I would rather delete it for a few reasons. First off it uses an 1/8 npt fitting so if I delete it I can thread my pyro sensor directly into that. No drilling or tapping needed!
Also my truck can easily puff smoke and I guarantee I will plug it again and hate having to repeatedly clean out a sensor.
From my understanding only the early 6.0 can delete this with new ford flashes, new trucks use it and can suffer from it being unplugged.

So why not just get better written tunes that don't smoke? You'll get way better performance using the EBP sensor than with any of the inferred EBP strategies. My '03 had an inferred EBP strategy and my tuner finally settled on using the sensor to get better throttle response and clean it up vs. the inferred tunes.

My tunes are very good I'm running Matt's srl+ and at WOT it's only a haze. When I say it smokes I mean from dead stop then foot to the floor and only until the turbo spools in a second or two.
I'm more worried about the fact that I can't keep my foot out of it!
Well that's good info I wasn't aware on the major tuning loss. I just don't like the thought of the sensor and what it does/ the conditions it deals with. It doesn't seem reliable. I was also hoping I could steal its port! It's damn cold here I don't want to spend much time installing my pyro

It shouldn't take long to drill and tap your manifold for the pyrometer...

I had Eric at Innovative make my tunes fuel proportional to boost, so it doesn't smoke at takeoff just like stock.

Also, the EBP port isn't a great location for the EGT probe. It would only be measuring cylinder 1 EGTs instead of the average of the entire bank. You want the EGT probe at the end of the manifold near the up-pipe.
