Ford may replace diesel with 300" I6

Sorry I had to... I have been laughing all day at the towing and racing capabilities of the I6. Needless to say "WOW"
I am sure you all were as impressed as I!!!

Exactly!!!!! If you guys haven't seen the above posts, might be worth taking a second to scan through 'em!!! I dought anyone will find anything useful there but it had me luughing!!!!! My Brother "F250WARHORSE" and I spent all day yesterday tinkering with our trucks and B.S'n!! Kept making little comments joking like "Well what if you put a 671 on a 300 I6 then no diesel could catch it!!!" Then of course the title of this thread "Ford to replace Diesel with 330 I6"

well when you take into account those posts were both started by a troll that really don't know his butt from a hole in the ground, there is not much to read in them.

X2
After reading the threads I realize the OP was just looking for someone to throw gas on the fire he started.
BTW I love my 300 and its great for what I need it to do but its not the engine for everyone.

I just adding fuel to a fire that needs to burn I like the 300 6 but NEVER would I compare it to a diesel! Because it is comparing apples to oranges! Something that was NOT intended for the same purpose. Just a good Laugh. For me anyway.

I own both, Diesels and 300's. Several of them each

And I will say, in some ways they do indeed compare.

They both lack power, but they got good torque right off idle. Ofcourse, the diesel is superior, but still alot more comparable than say comparing a diesel with a 302.

I am comparing to the old non turbo IDI diesel also, not the PSD.

And don't me wrong, love my 300, really do, but it's a turd.

0-60 downhill with tailwind eventually.....

the first step in receiving help is admitting you need help in the first place.

most people on this site need help, but don't realize it.

but not me, i am just fine here in my own little world.
