Ive been away from the board for a while, but a few weeks ago i passed the 250k mile milestone on my f250, thought i would share the moment. Currently have 252k and counting. But over the past few months ive been losing the lights on my instrument cluster lights on the dash. It started with the top left side, then the entire left side, then the right side, and now i only have what appears to be one bulb still working in the center so I can barely see the speedo when driving at night. I know others have changed these lights, for replacement or to change light color. Ive done a search and so far cant find where to get them or part number needed. Is there a better mousetrap somewhere? Im sure someone has the information needed, merci beaucoup in advance.
My rule: Replace all of 'em or I'll be back in there. I got canned air, Q-Tips, window cleaner, paper towels, and alcohol (both types) before taking my dash apart. Your's looks excellent, so it will be light work... but this is the time to detail the inside of your dash.
If you do a search for LED dash lights, somebody here did the mod and a full write-up.

15-16 MPG?
My dash looks good because I was just in there around thanksgiving replacing a turn signal switch. I cleaned it at that time. At that time i only had the one light fading so i didnt address it then. Now i get the privilege of going back in there. I have gotten as much as 20.5 mpg if i paw-paw it at 63 mph. I was getting a consistent 18-19 for a long time, but recently it has fallen to 16.7-17.5 depending on where i fill up and how i drive. Cant really complain, but im thinkin new hpop or injectors may be in the works for the future.
