How did I miss this? OCR, upper left corner. Did you put the OCR before the map?

It limits the PCM to seeing ~22.2 psi, according to my Aeroforce Scangauge. My analog gauge reads ~1.5-2 psi less than the digital one. When I get a chance, I will run my AE and compare its reading to the others. Since I'm already at 1/2 tank, I'll check my mpgs on the next one for improvement.
The PCM should see less boost than your gauge... something is definitely off. What does the KOEO show for EBP, MAP, and Baro?

Yes. OCR is between the outlet port and the MAP sensor.

Sorry if that seemed like a silly question. Rule 1 for me is start at the most basic and dig in from there. Did you do the KOEO on your pressures yet?

That's what I said. Boost gauge (connected at AIH delete plug) is always a little behind the Scangauge. I haven't monitored all those parameters yet. I have a larger turbine housing, so my EBP readings will be different than that of a stock setup when running.

Today my wife watched MAP on the SGII and I ran it at high boost. The mechanical Isspro gauge tapped into the AIH port went to 28 psi, SGII MAP went to 37.1 psi which leaves boost of 22.5 psi after subtracting today's barometric pressure of 14.6 psi. So the OCR seems to be working in that it is limiting what the sensor sees to 22.5 psi but the high boost (and only high boost) continues to trigger P0238 and the SES light.

KOEO
MAP= 14.6
EBP= 14.75
MGP= -0.11
Baro V= 4.74

Bumping this up to see if anyone has any suggestions on what to try.

I could not track down another used MAP sensor to compare.

Will the SGII do MGP (manifold gauge pressure)?

No it won't. Closest SGII will do is the boost x-gauge which is just a formula to subtract a constant barometric pressure from MAP. With AE MGP was 0.11 KOEO.

Here are my ramblings....

If I was getting P0238 with OCR installed I would record MGP with AE and do my best to generated the P0238.

Once I tripped the P0238 I would review MGP data on the AE to verify the highest reading the PCM saw....if over 22 PSI I would contact the OCR manufacturer.

From riffraffs site: "We are the first to utilize a pre-set custom regulator that will allow your MAP Sensor to see up to 22psi before holding it there."

If the PCM never saw 22+PSI I would suspect either a PCM issue or a tune issue.

Thanks Steve. I'll log MGP and trip the code ASAP.

I did calculate pressure based on observed MAP and it came out to 22.5 psi but that is not as conclusive as MGP will be.

Did two highway onramp logs this evening, WOT after TCLU and reaching 4th. Both runs triggered P0238 (cleared in between) and logs show me letting off the pedal before pausing. Kinda looks like the MAP sensor is seeing >22 psi.

MGP and ICP:

MGP, ICP, MAP, EBP:
