damn Frank, if it wasn't for ****ty luck..............
your turbo is turning in to another transmission story...
Don't remind me...
This will be the ninth time my turbo has been off.
I'm seriously considering the late 99 conversion will bellowed pipes.
Between the current administration and my truck issues my head is spinning. ( and its not from the Yuengling...)
My beer run backfired on me too.
I was backing into a spot at Publix with the sun in back window and wound up tapping a tree and denting my shiny '08 rear bumper...
I think your truck has decided that if you do not spend the maximum amount of money possible on the initial repair she is going to make you do it over, and over, and over until you have spent 3X what it would have cost to just buy the expensive part to begin with................................wait your truck has PMS, both kinds.
Yes it is Rich, Finally... But you forgot to remind my truck! It decided that it didn't want to warm up this morning on my 1 1/2 hr drive into work.
Looks like a thermostat and aluminum housing is being added to the list as well...

I think your right. The past few months have been real slow at work and my truck has been fine. As soon as I start a 5 week project three truck issues pop up in a two day period.
It's starting to remind me of my ex wife...the more I made the more she spends.
Pulling my turbo tomorrow also. Can't see where the oil coming from. Sometime it leaks and sometime it dosen't. None on top of the motor that I can see. Also going back to JW for some trans work Tuesday. It seems to make noise coming out of OD with foot off the pedal. Mit be the torq covertor. Its the second time for me on the turbo.

Check your ebpv solenoid on the pedestal for a leak. Mine was starting to leak, but I deleted the ebpv and plugged the pedestal.
I'm sure John will take care of you where a local shop would bend you over or make up excuses as to why it's not right.
A JW (or BTS in my case) is well worth the price if and when an issue pops up.
I'll check that selenoid close before I pull it. I just updated to late 99 last year. This is a JW trans also so I hope its nothing major. I did notice better response with the updated parts, and put on the 1.0 exhaust housing as well.
What's up Frank? I hope you get it figured out. New pipes I'm sure would help you out. Maybe do your taxes and hope for some money back. You probably should change the o rings every time you pull the turbo. I offered you some but said you didn't need them Jk bro..gl

Money back? What's that...I'm a 1099 contractor, I dont get refunds.
At the rate I'm going Grant, I'll need at least a few more sets of orings.
