Got a small bonus at work so I did what any good American would do- spend it!
When I bought my ADV VAN it already had the lift kit and wheels on it... but I didn't like the chrome bumpers and chrome grille. Finally remedied that situation.
Installed an OEM black grille (cheap, like $50!), bushwacker fender flares, Triton V10 fender stickers that came on the later vans, and finally I got the front and rear bumpers coated with LINE-X (bedliner material). I really like how it came out!
Oddly enough I miss my chrome front and rear step bumpers on my new-to-me '03---thinking of swapping them from an '00 E250 that's soon to be up for sale!
Hello Klinquist, I was surfing the net and found your forum on your van. I have the exact same van except in the e-250 model. I am inquiring about your Line-x coating on your bumpers. Would you mind sharing how much it was for LINE-X to do your job? I will be posting my van pics here soon.
