6.9 fly wheel problem
ok so i started my 1987 f350 (bessy) one morning and i began to hear a clanking noise so i kept driving lol it got louder and louder so i got under her to see what was wrong after a few seconds i located the noise at the fly wheel cover took cover off and found chunks of metal and the clanking noise the fly wheel itself seems fine so i went to pull into my garage and now i put it in gear and she dont go so im told that the fly wheel flex plate may be the problem and my truck is famous for this problem but i cant find a flex plate anywhere soooooo help anybody know anywhere i can get one or if this sounds like its not the problem let me know yes i have a junk yard that has a few in the yard but if these things go all the time i dont want one thats been in a junk yard for 10 years
