no more door chime!! FINALLY! i took apart the cover of the steering wheel and unplugged the blue wire and finally got rid of that annoyance that iv been wondering how to do since i bought the truck two years ago! and i wouldnt have figured it out if it wasnt for this forum!!
just wanna take a second and thank everyone on here for all the help iv been given over the last 2 years! lot of great people here that have helped me enjoy my truck much more!
I agree 100% on the helpfulness of the folks on this forum and the door chime being annoying. I did put a muzzle on the seat belt reminder. That thing really pi**ed me off. I've thot about doing the door chime thing but I would forget to turn off my lights or something sooner or later. I normally leave my headlight setting on auto except when I'm towing anything. If there is something hooked to my truck I turn my lights on. Just a personal safety thing.
Call me crazy, but doesn't the truck shut off the lights after 10-15 minutes or maybe even less then that if u turn it off and forget about your lights? I know it turns the interior lights off if I forget to.. And for some reason I thought I remember that I tried leaving my headlights on on purpose once and the truck kept turning them off
You might be crazy, but I'm pretty sure you are correct or both our trucks have tiny ninjas that turn off lights and then turn them back on after I start the truck and my kids say, "oh yeah, I left the light on in the back seat again".

Okay, you're crazy. You said I could. Savage did it too!
I think you are right about the shut off feature tho. I left my dome light on once over night and it wasn't on when I went to start the truck the next day. Hmmm, might have to change my thinkin.
