My windshield washer fluid is not coming out on passenger side and is very weak on drivers side . I thought it mite be frozen but it has been warm and rainy here for two days ,I put cold weather cleaner fluid in it three days ago. Still not working? Does this system work on a vacuum ? Any suggestions !
I have a 06 f350
Sounds like u need a new Washer Pump Motor (weak or clogged with crap), should be an easy & inexpensive fix.
No vacuum its an electric pump usually in the bottom of your washer fluid tank, ive never actually had to change 1 in a SuperDuty but have in quite a few vehicles. Also should easily be obtained aftermarket...
I have a weak squirter on the driver side. Passenger is fine. Must be clogged.
Sounds like a new drivers side squirter is in order, you could try unhooking the line at the "T" connector (usually right under drivers side wiper arm) & forcing pressurized air backwards through your squirter. May work but normally a replacement is in order & while u have the wiper cowl off u can make sure all the fluid lines are clear.
You don't need to remove it just lift it up a bit to unsnap the nozzle.
I had one that was a gusher that had to be replaced. Took the screws out
lifted the edge and gave the hose a tug and reached up and squeezed the
clips that hold the nozzle in place. Put new nozzle in hooked up hose and
put the screws back. Done and it now sprays nice.
Alright I was driving Saturday and could not see out the windshield from the road salt ,the washers stopped altogether .so I went and got a new pump some winter mix of washer fluid ,came home truck does not fit in my garage and it was 8f out and about -2 windchill and started the swap .took out battery ,battery tray and tank, put pump in and it was leaking slowly.took pump back out and put new pump to my lips and blew in it ( not a smart thing to do with winter mix washer fluid ) I tasted antifreeze for two days !!! LoL pump was fine . The hose needed to be cut back a little ,leak fixed put battery back in start truck try the washer and ... Nothing !! So I take the windshield wipers off and took the cowl off ,and found the passenger side washer tip was broke off and missing so there was no pressure /or say back pressure to let the fluid to go over to driver side that's why there was a poor spray coming out on the drivers side! So I go and get new washer tips (on a Saturday night ) throw the universal washer tips in put the cowl back in button it all up ,put new wiper blades in fired it up and washer fluid shots over the top of the truck!! I will have the cleanest running lights in towns thanks for helping
You may find that the guy behind you will pass you with a "I'm Going To Kill You" Look
on his face. I got my nozzle from Ford and they must have some gold in them.
But they do hit the front window where they should.

When summer comes back with all the bugs , I will need to make sure that there is no one behind me on a bike !!! I hate it when people in front of me when I m riding wash there windshield for five minutes!!!
