Remote Start
I have a Ford remote start kit - CL3Z-19G364-A. It is described as a plug-and-play. In my business it is also known as a plug-and-pray.
I have an install estimate from a dealer for a day in the shop and $220.
My alternative is a DIY. After some research I cannot seem to find a HOWTO reference. There was no manual with the unit - it is genuine Ford - purchased from Ford. I've been unable to find any references for installation.
Any direction would be appreciated.

iirc, it took a SEASONED installer
(that said he had done 100's for the ford dealership)
4 hours to do the one in my last excursion...
there were 100's of wires it seemed like !
IMHO, that install money is money well spent !
Better yet, sell that on ebay or craigs;ist and go get a better, cheaper, aftermarket unit installed at best buy or somewhere ...
and get a two way remote so you know when it starts
(my 2 pet peeves with the 2012's factory remote is the 4 bottom combo to start and get in it and not knowing IF it started when it is out of sight)
This kit has three connectors, all keyed. It has an antenna, the controller and some mounting tape and a couple of fobs. I may be overly confident but it seems the magic is where do it go?
