f250 1982 wireing problems need help

i have guages on the dash of the truck but i restored my truck and all the wires were so bad and broke off cant remember where they went

That's not a diesel diagram, that's a diagram for all trucks with the external alternator and gauges in the dash.
Here is the diagram if you have idiot lights in the dash(which you said you had).
Do you have any wires out under the hood to work with?

i have all the wires diconnected there cut & burt have to replace them all there was a cluster of wires that came out next to my blower motor that had a plug on in but pretty bad melted have to make a new one cant find one anywhere went to bout 60 junkyards there all gone thanks fore the diagram

my altanator has a plastic plug on the side of it with two post on each side of it so there should be 2 wires fore the plug and one wire fore each stud right four wires all together diagram only shows three??

The alternator you should have should look like this:
If you look close at the casting of the alternator, the terminals are stamped to mark them.
Does your alternator look like this? If so, I think it's a later model and the wrong one for your truck, but possibly you have had a motor swap at one time or another.
