I just got a new cluster from a friend and it has all the gauges in it. The one I have now only has 2 in there. I am trying to figure out how to wire everything up now. I have the harness for the new cluster. I am just concerned how to wire the 2 new gauges.
You MUST also swap out the short harness to the alternator or the gauges won't work. The alternator harness is different from lights to gauges.
You can check a wiring diagram but I think the wire colors are the same for both they are just in different positions. You can remove the wires from the original plug by using a tiny screwdriver to press the barb and pull the wire free from the original plug then pop it back in to the correct position in the new plug. This has to be done carefully, one wire in the wrong place could be bad.
