leveling coil springs
I'm just curious how tough of a job it is to put in new coil springs. I have a pair of Skyjacker leveling coils I've been waiting to put on my 85 f150, and I'm trying to decide if I should bother trying to do it myself or save up a while longer and take it in to have it done. Anything I'll want to look out for? I just replaced my rear leaf springs, which was a PITA due to the bolts rusted to the spring eye bushings, and I don't want to start the front then find out it's gonna be as much work as the back was. Thanks for the help.

The fronts are normally pretty easy. W/ an 85 you will most definately need an alignment afterwards. Also, I assume this is a 4x4. Longer shocks may be needed as well. you will have to check to see if there is enough extra droop left in your current ones.

Sorry, it is a 4x4, and I have new shocks also. Anyone have an idea what an alignment will cost me? How bad would it be if I went without an alignment for a couple weeks, pretty bad? Thanks for the help guys, it's appreciated.
