New to the forum 4X4 Help

Hey Guys, I know there is a ton of post on here about ESOF but I need to figure this thing out...I have been pulling my hair out chasing wires checking fuses relays etc.
Here is the run down. 2001 Ford F250 7.3L Diesel 193K miles ESOF with Manual Warn Locking hubs. No vacuum on these.
My 4x4 light does not come on...nor does my 4x4 come on. I have checked and replaced the relays...checked fuses...checked the switch on my dash..all good.... I have NO POWER coming into the plug that has the two yellow wires that goes to the motor on the transfer case. I do have power to the plug that is on the top of the motor on the transfer case...There is a ton of info on here in regards to this topic but i need some specifics.
Also My heat is stuck in defrost mode...not sure if this is related or not.
Opinions or test I can run would be great!

Thanks Joe

Welcome to FTE

Your heat stuck in defrost mode means you have a vacuum leak... but since you have locking hubs your 4x4 should still work. In that case... I would check out those two yellow wires again... either your switch or the motor on the t-case is bad.... or maybe that plug is corroded and needs to be cleaned.

Transfer case motor works fine..put power to it...i have no power coming to that yellow wire plugs that go into the transfer case...but the switch is fine...tested and bought a new one just to be sure.
I had read about the 4x4 module located in the passenger kick panel...I pulled off the kick panel..there are two plugs (female) that are not plug into anything...bottom one is black top one is grey...is there supposed to be something plugged into these.?

For the heater problem I'd check for a vacuum leak especially the old vacuum hub lines that were disconnected when the warn hubs were installed.

My truck never had the auto locking hubs on it. Even before i put the warns on it was eithe free or locked.

What about the two plugs inside the kick panel...what are those there for?

I guess I figured it had auto hubs at one time because it has an electronic shifter . I thought the trucks that came with manual hubs from the factory always had a manual shifter too!
