In a sense, that's a good thing!! Everytime I go to the one in Dundee, Mi, I come out MUCH poorer than when I went in!!
Been past the one in Dundee, MI----y'all are some crazy drivers up there!
Like you there's a few places I go and leave none the better wallet-wise. Of course since the internerd has become sooooooooooo uber convenient I'm broke and full up on tools, never leave the house!

Us? Until you get north of Bay City, it's still North Toledo!!!
Do you know what one the scariest things in the world is?
It's an Ohio license plate in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario!!!!
That is a heck of a buy. I do believe I will be buying a spare for that price. I got the new battery in and fully charged it and put it back in the case for it and reinstalled the old one. it still holds a charge decent. One thing that I am not for sure if it has helped my battery life is I don't charge mine till it cuts itself off then put it on the charger. now that I have the second battery it wont put me in a bind when I am up to my neck under a dashboard. But I use that light everyday for years and have only broke the lens on it. It is made of glass and I just cut out a piece of plexi and popped it in so if it gets all scratched up I just put a new one in and it's good to go.
There's a lot of opinions on how or when to recharge a battery---I don't know any one thing ir all that helpful in the end.
Its not helpful to constantly re-charge them after a few minutes use---I've heard they develop a memory of sorts, eventually can't discharge or re-charge past levels they've learned. I tend to let my Milwaukee tool batteries get quite low before popping them into a charger. The advantage there is the "smart charger" features which allow for a topping off mode, never over charging.
I've watched a few of those same Strion's go for a higher price on eBay so it is a good price. Free shipping too!

I think the battery memory problem is a thing of the past. The NiCAD batteries in older rechargeable devices would get this but the NiMH and now especially the LiIon batteries don't have this problem.
I've had my Streamlight for several years and the batteries seem as good as when I got it and I recharge mine whether I used it all night or whether I turned it on once to test it.
