Towing ?

Rob, you should be fine in 60Tow, and be able to use OD without much downshifting until you get into the bigger hills of the Smokies. Just keep an eye on EGT and listen for turbo surge. If either one of those become problematic, turn OD off and let the ol' girl wake up in the higher rpm's. Try to get a little momentum on the downhills if you can, the uphills will bring your speed down to 45-50mph most likely. If you can get the turbo spooled up prior to starting a climb, it will be easier to keep the boost up while pulling the hill. Have fun, you're going to see what these trucks are made for!

Hey Rob, I'm running php, not DP, but I throw it in 60 tow and walk the dog. Boost will run up to 11-14 lbs and as long as I hit the hill above 65, there's now downshifting needed. Keep an ear and eye out for surge and egt though. I start getting a little surge between 10-12.
I'm going to get a reburn and add 80 tow to see what it does. It definitely will feel better 65 and up than it will at 55-60, so don't hesitate to try out a few different speeds to see what feels best with your setup.
Good luck and be safe
