New Toy
It's been a while since I've been on but I bought a new toy.
94 f350 cc/lb factory turbo 4x4
I'm working on getting pics uploaded
It's in pretty good shape everything works but I think the fuel gauge is off.
New ip it's been a while since I've had an idi. But it came down to trading my 06 in for a 13 f250 or buying a new project and after I priced a new platinum 6.7 I decided I knew why I didn't have any car payments and wasn't about to have one like that lol it sounds very quiet to me once warm. Could the timing be off? Or am I just used to the 6.0 rattling?

Soon as I get her painted and fixed up I'm probably looking into turbo upgrades since it still has the funky stock dp on it. Wish I had another outlet housing to hack up to make a 3" outlet and maybe do a 60-1 wheel mod

You know, I've never understood why the IDI is always called a noisy engine. Sure it has diesel rattle, but it is uber-quiet compared to the un-synchronized din of a massive multi-car train wreck noise the Power-Stroke makes. I've been driving IDI since the '90s and I've always gotten comments on how quieter they are compared to the newer rigs.
We can have more in cab noise due to poor cab insulation, but that's hardly the fault of the engine.

You may be right it's been 2 years since I've had an idi. I'm just surprised my 06 is silent in the cab. Outside is a different story. But this thing is silent on the inside an a lot more quiet outside. Maybe it's normal haha
