as long as you ease down on the throttle its ok, but push it down hard it bogs down, let up an gets power back. thought it was the fuel filter but changed it, no difference HELP its my work transpiration
Mine is having idling problems. Am sure it's either the Throttle Position Sensor on the intake or the Idle Air Control Valve. In your' case it definitely sounds like the TPS. That's what i'd check first.
got it, was a fuel pressure problem. 23 lbs of fuel pressure, not enough. replaced fuel pump an pressure reg. runs great, i live in oregon we have ethanol fuel.10 % it eating our old stuff up!!!! if you have any power problems , idle ,acceleration, power surges, first thing CHECK FUEL PRESSURE .I drive a tank truck an see first hand what this stuff is doing.its not good,cut open old pressure regulator not much left of it , hope this can help others out,with out going to the shop, cus its expensive, thanks for the help !!!
My Bronco II was having Similar issues. If You have a Stick, I would say that You May want to Look into the Clutch! I check into it with mine and sure enough that is all it took!
