Beautiful car! I like the '69, like mine, better than the '70 because I owned a '69 new, but that one looks very good. And I especially like the 440 six pak on it. Those babies RAN!.
I sure hope to start on mine this year. I need to do the body work on Dad's, and to do that I need to build the rotisserie, but I have the plans and the materials so that shouldn't be an issue. Then I can use the rotisserie on the Bee, as well as my new-found body-working skills, assuming I wind up doing the body work and painting.
I saw, not a bee but I think it was a Dart Swinger yesterday, sounded real good, never got alongside to see what the fender said. It had 1972 plates on it (Virginia allows year model plates as either antique or special) and was painted "Plum Crazy Purple".
i want a Bee... i was rasied in a Ford family, but i have a soft spot for muscle era mopars.
Same. Before I started with Ford trucks, I wanted a 69-70 Charger. Then, I realized what it would cost, and decided to get into something more affordable, and easier to find parts for.
Brothers and sisters: Satellites & Coronets, Road Runners & Super Bees, GTX's and RT's. Plymouth had no vehicle like the Charger, but all of those were B body cars.
Actually, I'm with you, Shaun. Go watch Bullitt again. My rear-view mirror is the same, so when they show the shots in the rear-view I think I'm in my Bee. In fact, everything from the back of the door forward is the same.

Don't get me started on how 1968 Chargers should have had rectangular side marker lenses, since the Chargers barely had any curves aside from the wheels and wheel openings. Luckily somebody agreed in 1969.
