Oh that's almost funny...
As if I need another reason to hate Los Angeles, the surcharge some stations try to get away with for diesel is ridiculous. It was $3.99 less than a mile away.

I think some stations are mandated to carry the fuel, but really don't want to be bothered with selling it, so they price it accordingly.

in north haledon nj, the average income is around $200,000
