I am going to give my F250 2004 mirrors to my friend who has a 2003 F350. My question is will his 2003 be set up to accept the heated mirror and blinkers that are on the mirrors or will there not be wiring there for these options that are on the 2004 mirrors? Thanks guys
But Im thinking the Wire Harness should be the Same Regaurdless Even if say he had an XL or XLT Version truck and the mirrors came from Say a King Ranch Version
Mike or Cheezit will have to Correct me If I am WRONG
Just remembered I could be wrong But Iv been Reaserching To Modify my Mirrors Heaters to a Switch
But I cant remember what year the Guy Had But he Had to Pull Wire threw the Door for something cant remember what but he Installed Updated Mirrors on something
IIRC the guy had a 2002 or Older but Dont quote me on that
What I am Getting at here No Matter what he Has it will work if he is missing something he can pull a wire or two threw the Door and Have it ALL Work Properly
I Might have some info if you Get stuck Send a PM if you need
OKay, so there are two bolts and a three winged, what looks to be some sort of nut or bolt setup, I have thenuts off the upper and lower brass bolts, buit how do you remove the three winged galvinized nutbolt?
the three wing come out when you pull the mirror ,should be 4 bolts 11mm deep socket and some sticky tape so you dont loose the nut in the door panel.no need to pull the panel just separate from the top seal.
