Pulling to right even after alignment

Hi all,

1995 F150 4x4 off road, 5.8 114,000 miles. No suspension mods, regular size tires in good shape.

This is a well taken care of truck and it pulled to the right. I had alignment done and they said front springs are sagging a bit but otherwise the front end is tight. I had it aligned and it still pulls to the right. Tires have even air pressure. I do need brakes on the front but I don't believe the calipers are dragging.

Any known issues other than alignment that would cause pulling to the right?

Thanks
Robb

No not really check the print out and let me know what the camber caster and toe is. Sounds like they might not of bothered with bushings

Take it back. Part of the alignment is have it go down the road straight

I second that. I had an alignment done, and same thing. I took it to my regular guy who u trust and he couldn't believe what was overlooked. Get a second opinion and tell them what it does and post back with results.

Yeah, double check the printout. I always review and request a copy of it.

I went to a place once and had my Dodge Neon aligned after I changed the struts. I asked them for a printout and they looked at me like I was speaking Latin or something. They actually had to fish the thing out of the trashcan! It had been balled up and thrown away. I guess many customers don't care to look at it

I would want to either take it back or go somewhere else. Best of luck!

Jack up the front end and spin the wheels to make sure your bearings are good and your brakes aren't dragging, then check the back.

Are they NEW tires? If not, swap your front tires and see if it pulls the other way. If it does pull the other way after the swap, your tires are unevenly worn.

I second Jroehl's comment on the tires they may be worn weird. Better yet try rotating the tires and see if it pull.

Good idea about the tires. I had forgot about that causing similar problems.

It's unlikely, but take a look at the rear axle. make sure your the rear spring hangers on the rear axle aren't rusted out. Also, make sure the axle hasn't shifted in the spring pack. It's very unlikely, but worth checking.

Also, have you checked the rear brakes as well or just the front ones?
