Where's the snow, anyway? We're buried here....
And I don't think the OBS computers are 'smart' enough to record mileage.
As for the snow, about all we have had here lately is a dusting here or there. I am guessing we have another inch or two now, though. That video was taken last night and it has been snowing pretty steady here this morning. We don't get the lake affect like you guys do, we're too far south unless it really gets to working. I honestly wish we would get more snow than we do though.

almost as impressive as this occassion is how quiet your truck is! i don't think i've ever heard my turn signal blinker!
My resolve has been wavering here as of late, but I don't think I will be getting rid of the truck. I would rather get another small vehicle for a DD and keep the "school bus" for doing the serious work.
I guess I don't think of my truck as "quiet" but it is a lot more quiet inside since I swapped the stock pipe and muffler back onto it. I do kind of miss the turbo sing though. I may have to put the straight pipe back on it this spring some time and let it breathe.

You are now in the elite group of people who have filmed their truck rolling from 399,999.9 to 300,000.0. I mean, how many people do you think have actually done that? Exactly. Not many. I thought it was pretty cool when I happened to look down at the exact moment that my truck odometer read 277,777.7. But this tops that.
Yeah I know the feeling. I have been know to do dumb stuff like that from time to time too. I think I still have a picture of my old truck at 77,777.7 miles and I made sure the speedometer was reading 77 at the time too, lol. It's the little things that make us "simple folk" smile.
Nice video i enjoyed it i never knew it would do that. Now i will be courious to watch mine but i got a while with 143.000 on my 1997 F350 Oh yea one other thing you need to stop for fuel man it looked low LOL joking with you man Thanks DIY Mechanic,

Yeah that's my lovely rear tank sending unit. It has been getting progressively more and more sensitive. The last time I filled the rear tank, the gauge said I only had a quarter tank, but I only got 10 gallons in the tank, which means there were around 6 gallons left in there. I have another sending unit from a rear tank on one of the parts trucks, so I think I may try that one when I unbolt the bed in a little while to make the body swap. Oh, and the front tank was full too. lol.
Greetings, I had a 1996 F-250 7.3 that did the very same thing. Hit 399,999.9 and then rolled back to 300,000. It was a road truck and when I had a crate engine put in 3 yrs later it still showed 365,452 miles on the odometer. The Ford Stealership questioned why with such low miles. So with that question I do not think they are able to read actuall milage off the ECM. I now own another 1996 F-350 CC 4x4 and according to Car Fax, it is about 120,000 miles short, so it is my suggestion it has done the same thing. Gets to 399,999.9 and then the 3 sticks and all other roll over to 0's. I never thought of capturing the rollover.
