Hey guys, it happened yesterday. The truck turned 400k (or maybe it is 500k, who knows). The video captured the odometer rolling over from 399,999.9 to 300,000.0. The truck had over 300k on it when I got it, so for all i know this may not be the first time it has rolled over, but this is the first time I have seen a video of it happening.
I know....I'm a dork, but I thought it was pretty cool. Enjoy.
I know I have never been able to catch a video of it before, so I made it a point to try and catch it when it rolled over. It just so happened that it rolled over right in front of my house.
Yeah, that's the kind of stuff that you get excited about when you're a redneck geek!
No, I don't. I was curious about that too. I wonder if a good scanner like AE would be able to tell the true mileage of the vehicle or if the internal Odo in the PCM rolls back too. It is some nice country here. For all the grief that the left coast gives the flyover country, I wouldn't live anywhere else. Except maybe Texas...

That is a great video Nate, I believe it now, I was just thinking about this the other day like I haven't heard any thing on this subject lately. I think this video should go viral soon and get verified with other comments, it just may be that all the Fords out there with digital odometers do the same. That in my opinion would be built in fraud
Now on the other side being the eternal skeptic that I am, we would all be fools if we were to believe everything we see these days especially the internet (sorry just had to add that)
Well Nate...if you're a geek for filming this and posting it, then I'm a geek for liking it! That is pretty awesome. You are now in the elite group of people who have filmed their truck rolling from 399,999.9 to 300,000.0. I mean, how many people do you think have actually done that? Exactly. Not many. I thought it was pretty cool when I happened to look down at the exact moment that my truck odometer read 277,777.7. But this tops that.
