Introduction

Hi all,
I've been on the forum for a few months, but I decided to finally post an intro.

I bought a 1988 E250 Club Wagon in October, and I've been fixing it up. Already went on a few trips around SoCal, and it's pretty nice. I'm not a stranger to diesels, and I still have my Jetta TDI as a daily driver.

Some recent plans for the Club Wagon....
Just bought a used Type J Laycock Gearvendor OD, and I'm installing it next weekend.
Designed and installing a custom VO system, 32-gallong alum 2-tank system, heated filter head, 30-plate FPHE, alum T.O.T., Hydraforce valves.
Already installed an auxiliary coolant filter already (NAPA brand).
Going to upgrade the suspension and treads for better offroad traction and clearance.
Replaced two of the door seals already, and 3 more to go.

I'm looking to buy two rims from someone in the Socal area, so I can have a total of three spare tires. If you have two or know someone that is willing to sell, PM me. Also, if anyone is willing to sell a rear-door spare-tire holder, PM me. Also, if you have a bumper + grill guard and a spot for a winch (I have a winch), definitely PM me. I need that bumper/grill guard.

I can't make it up to Pismo. The next two weekends are dedicated to wrenching on the van. I'll stay tuned to make the next Pismo trip. I love it up there.
