Lift/ fuel pump

Hey guys I have a fuel leak and finally determined its the pump only leaks under load so my question is what is a good brand pump I don't have money for e fuel so Gona just get a stock pump is percision from oreillys any good or airtex thanks

They are all made by the same company. So find the cheapest one

Ok thanks I didn know if it was something you wanted to get from ford or Ih or if a parts store was just fine

Yep, what Mike said ^^^^

They are all made by Carter so an Oreillys one is OK.

Cool thanks guys I guess after my o rings come in I will rebuild the bowl and replace the pump also I hope it goes smooth after all the bad story's I hear about replacing the pump is it a real bad job to do the pump

Make sure you clock the motor ( mark on the balancer to the pointer on the CPS) ...

It puts the lobe on the Cam in a position that won't allow you to loose the tappet in the engine ...

Get the fuel lines from Ford , it will be worth the money

Make sure you run the banjo bolt into the new pump on the bench . It makes starting it in the engine bay a bit easier ...

One fuel line will be a pain unless you loosen the fuel bowl ...The clamp is under the bowl ...

You talkin about the groove on the balancer lined w the cps pointer ?
And I got the new hoses from diesel orings along w my o rings to do the bowl

Update changed fuel pump and rebuilt bowl sat went smooth the tappet came out w the pump so no issues there the fuel bowl was a little bit of a pain but not bad and putting it back in was a pain gettin the hoses all put on but all is good and valley is dry thanks for all the help
