2003 Expedition window regulator

2003 Expedition window regulator
It appears that my 2003 Expedition window regulator, has failed. Is this a common problem ?

Please provide repair info advice.

Well that would depend on how often you run it up and down.

Search the forum for lot's of info on replacing the regulator. Yes, it is common for the driver's window. Part costs about $100 on-line and takes about an hour to replace. The regulator is a separate part from the motor, no need to change the motor if it is still working.

This is an excellent how-to. I've done both my front regulators and it's pretty easy.
