Short bed Explorer?
Did Ford ever make a short bed Explorer? I went and looked at a 77 F100 today and it appears to be an original short bed explorer but I've only ever seen long beds.

Yes, the Explorer package was optional on short and long bed pickups.
The "MD4" body code on your truck translates as (MD) Explorer, white vinyl and red cloth with red appointments for the interior (4) styleside bed

That's good to know. I'm pretty sure I've never seen a shortbed.

thats way cool, ive never seen more than a few shortbeds in person, never got to drive one either.
