Leveling kit. Cant decide 1.5 or 2.
I cant decide which is what i need. I want the truck to be level or slightly raked forward. i dont want it to be nose high for sure. seems to be mixxed results on here.
I do tow and would like it to sit close to level, or at least not drastic sag. I could always add rear blocks later.
The front end of this FX4 is just so darn close to the ground.

I used a 1" Daystar spacer in the front, and installed Airlift bags. You could put a 1.5-2" spacer instead of what I did, but the airbags serve a couple purposes. I prefer to maintain the factory rake, and just pump my bags up to maintain that, and I'm sure they're capable enough to raise yours 1.5-2" in the rear.. They helped me tremendously with towing as well. It just gives me the shakes whenever I see a pickup rearend sagging even an inch when they're towing. It may not be, but it just shouts "overloaded" to me.

i suggest you measure where the truck currently sits before making that decision. i measured the wheel opening at the center, or highest point. on my current SuperCrew and it is right at 1.5 higher in the rear at the wheel opening. so a 2" kit would have put the rear higher than the front about 1/2".
my 2005 SuperCab was a different story a 2" kit( which did net a 2" lift ) actually left the front down about 1/4" or so when i had it installed. which was perfect for me. after 7 years the rear actually sagged out about a 1/2" so the rear was down about a 1/4".

Could be just because of tire wear. My mud grapplers used to rub at full lock until they ha a few thousand miles on them

That sounds logical but I noticed the rub went away right after my first rotation. So the tires that went on front hadn't rubbed anything on the inside yet. My rub at full lock was very minor to begin with. There was just a slight rub when backing up and turned full lock to the left.

Like triple8 above, I measured the distance from the ground to the center of the wheel openings and my 2010 truck was 1.5" higher at the rears. I installed 1.5" spacers and the truck looks better to me with just a slight amount of rake. Raising the front end just that little amount also improved the coverage of my headlights (after I re-adjusted them lower).

That is good to hear about the tires. Now I just need to totaly convince myself I need those tires lol.
BURNSTOUGHFORD I dont think you could go wrong either way. NASSTY's truck looks bad a$$ though!
I wish some times I would have gone with a 2.5'' and a slightly taller block in the rear.
