I have a 2003 f-250 with a 6.0. It was manufactured in 12/02. My oil pressure goes to 0 at a idle at normal operating temp. It does not do this all the time its an intermittant issue. Truck runs fine though. no other issues. Could it just be the EOP switch? I noticed it is wet with leaking oil. Any help is greatly appreciated on this matter.
I had same thing, replaced the eop switch and
Problem is gone. Mine would drop to 0 at 70mph sometimes too, so i knew i had oil pressure. The oil supply tube is in the way, so you might need to remove it to get a deep socket in there.
Are you talking about the ICP or the dash gauge? Dash gauge only registers 7 psi and it's signal is not even seen by the pcm. Located in the oil cooler cover just behind the filter houseing. A single wire connector.
